Registered Behavioral Technicians - 1099 Contract Position
Job Description
Behavioral Technicians work in homes, schools and clinic with families to improve a child's life through skill acquisition and increasing appropriate behaviors. Technicians support the child, family, and team members delivering interventions designed specifically for each unique individual. Behavioral technicians focuses on a variety of areas:

Following daily routines

Independent living
-
Anger management and self-regulation
-
Building appropriate relationships/interactions with family members

Increasing effective communication skills
-
Appropriate peer relationships
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with children to increase positive behavior
-
Basic data collection
-
Daily notes and a monthly report
-
Implementation of behavior strategies
-
Assist parents and team members with behavior strategies
Desired Skills & Experience:
If you do not have a Business license for the state of GA you will be required to obtain one. You must also be a Registered Behavior Technician, Certified through the BACB.
For a successful candidate we can help you acquire both of these if you do not have them.
Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, 2+ years' experience working with
behavioral clients, preferably children. A college degree is preferred. The successful candidate will be able to work with a child/family team, problem-solve and be creative, speak and write clear goals to child/family, and be organized. An afternoon/evening, flexible schedule is preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. We do offer training in for this position.
Important Notes
If you have experience doing habilitation, working at a group home, or with behavioral clients, this job is perfect for you.
Positions are open for immediate interviews until filled. Up to 40 hours weekly available depending on location and schedule. Daytime, evening and weekend shifts available (flexible).
$10-$15 an hour based on experience
